K-Town Street Art 2023

Katherine’s first Street Art event will be held on Friday, 25 August 2023 from 6:00pm to 8:30pm at the Town Square and Railway Terrace!
You are all invited to view new and existing street art and find out more about their significant stories. You will be able to find some stories through Discover Katherine App. There will be local people at the following murals along Railway Terrace who are ready to share stories:
- Olive O’keeffe MBE
- Neighbour
- Katherine Gorge/RAAF
- Nida Lowe
- Aboriginal Stockman Mural
- Mr Vincent Lingiari
- Meet visiting artists (Celeste Mountjoy and Phoebe Paradise) and their street art.
Enjoy music by Katherine's own LucyPer and the TropiCools - from Soul to Sheeran, Ms Britt Dance workshop for Children and delicious food and drinks from the following vendors:
- Connected Women Katherine
- Zaki-Zaki Cafe
- KFK Racing Team
- Train Station Museum Cafe
- Fruit Bat Bar
- Ginos Soft Serve
If you are attending with children, please come to Activate Katherine's marquee to pick up free fruit provided by Woolworth and street art quiz sheet! Who knows you will go home home with lucky prizes.
