There are four trails available: 

Baruwei Walk

The Baruwei walk is a highlight of the award-winning Nitmiluk National Park, with breathtaking views from the top of the escarpment. This trail features complete narration from Jawoyn People who are recognised as the Traditional Owners and hold the Land Rights

Katherine Arts Trail

Katherine has a vibrant creative industries scene that showcases art from all across the region. This trail explores street murals, art galleries, and community arts organisations in Katherine. 

Katherine to Nitmiluk Drive

Take the scenic drive between the Katherine Visitor Information Centre and Nitmiluk Centre in the world-famous the Nitmiluk Visitors Centre. With a variety of history, businesses and culture, this 30km trip only gets better with the more you know. From the history of the town name and the devastating floods in 1998, to the unique businesses along the drive and awe inspiring culture and scenery of Nitmiluk, this trip is a must for everyone in Katherine.

WWII History Walk

WWII History Walk uncovers the rich hidden history of Katherine. The town was a key military base during WWII. This trail explores our military history, including the bombing of Katherine.
